- Must match where the key was issued; a live key against the sandbox is rejected as invalid.
Your Paddle credential is encrypted with its own key, bound to your account and the provider. Our server calls Paddle and hands your Mac a normalised number, so the Mac app never holds the credential. Remove the integration and the encrypted key is deleted with it.

Questions
- What Paddle numbers can Notch Metrics show?
- Notch Metrics reports 6 Paddle numbers: monthly recurring revenue, revenue, active subscriptions, new subscriptions, churned subscriptions and recent payments. Each one is a widget you place in the MacBook notch, sized from a single square up to the full width.
- How do you connect Paddle to Notch Metrics?
- Sign in to notchmetrics.com, choose Paddle and paste your key. Developer Tools → Authentication. Read permission on transactions, subscriptions and customers is enough.

- No. Our server calls Paddle and hands your Mac a normalised number. Your Paddle credential is encrypted with its own key, bound to your account and the provider, so a row copied anywhere else does not decrypt.
